Version details
3.6.1 (31-May-2020)
- made it possible to bind keyboard shortcuts to items in context menu
Youtube Source Search
. Note, shortcut binds to full config of search item, not just to its name. I.e. if you modify search item in any way you will have to rebind its keyboard shortcut - [beta 2] stopped enforcing only IPv4 to be used internally and when executing youtube-dl. This behavior was introduced in 3.3.1 as workaround for Youtube error #429. Eventually error turned out to be not directly related to IP version but workaround stayed to be in place and now is causing issues in networks where only IPv6 is used
- [beta 3] added option
Skip tracks analysis when loading playlist or a search portion
(component preferencesPlaylist Miscellaneous
). When loading playlist items, if item has no info (relevant for some playlists being loaded via youtube-dl) component perform its analysis. This can greatly slow down playlist loading. With this option enabled, playlist items are added as-is - [beta 3] on error loading single tracks info during the playlist loading, instead of aborting the entire operation it now prints an error to the console and continues to work
- [beta 3] fixed possible error
No video found on Youtube
in embedded Youtube analyzer caused by internal change on Youtube - [beta 3] fixed possible hang when performing a lot of Internet requests simultaneously (a dead-lock)
- [beta 3] improved probing reliability in case of unsupported or corrupted files (this is about option
Analysis Probe each stream found during the analysis
) - [beta 3] updated internal ffmpeg to 4.2.2
- [final] added possibility to output youtube-dl debug info to the console. It is controlled via main menu
Help Youtube Source Log level youtube-dl
. Optionregular
means to printstderr
output to the console. In addition to that optiondebug
results in youtube-dl invocation with--verbose
flag
